About Me

My name is Lana Petkovic; Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, immigrated to the US in 1996, became US citizen shortly there after.  Received Bachelors in Architecture and an MBA at the University of Utah.

Being a refugee has changed me forever.  For one, it taught me  tenacity to try new things, knock on every door,  always raise my hand, question everything and it is all to survive, adapt and triumph.  The elan to keep moving forward, to keep learning and never stop searching for answers to refine your life and improve your lifestyle is something I always encourage and share with others.

 

I am a full time working mom trying to keep up with two daughters and their immense love for ballet. 

My real job is working at Goldman Sachs at least 50 hours a week, the rest of the time I spend trying to demystify this beautiful world of ballet and help my daughters succeeded .

My goal is to share the good, the bad, the ugly and the amazing of the ballet world. I hope to inspire other ballet/ dance parents to share their experiences so we can expand our knowledge and our community.
